Saskia Bergmans Smith has been teaching and studying yoga for over 20 years in Europe, Wakefield MA and New Haven CT where she is now based.

Saskia leads workshops and teaches yoga classes focusing on energy management, peace and grounding to support people in these challenging times and help them to process grief, loss and stress.  She also specializes in prenatal and postpartum yoga, offers private yoga classes to individual clients, and combines yoga with spiritual coaching, helping women manage the stresses of modern life.

Her compassionate and peaceful presence creates a safe space for clients to discuss their hopes, dreams and forgotten joys, and reframe and heal their past. By setting them on a path of acceptance and self-love, she guides them to a place of empowerment.

Welcome to Saskia's free resources page which is an introduction to her yoga and meditation classes and workshops.

Monthly Subscription - Energy Management Yoga Classes

These classes combine meditation, breathwork and yoga will improve self-awareness, and increase energy and emotional connection. A monthly subscription includes:

Tuesdays – pre-recorded ‘Rusty Hinges’ class

Thursdays – pre-recorded Slow Flow Vinyasa

Saturdays 9am – live-streamed calming, centering and grounding yoga class  

Saturday drop-in class - Energy Management Yoga

This weekly hour long live-streamed class every Saturday at 9am is included in the monthly subscription, but all students are welcome to drop in.  

The combination of meditation, breathwork and yoga will help to process the grief, loss and stress of this challenging time, and bring about greater self-awareness, increased energy and emotional connection.

Monthly Prenatal Yoga Classes

Saskia has almost 20 years of experience teaching prenatal and postnatal yoga.

Every Tuesday at 5.15pm, Saskia teaches live-streamed classes in which she creates a safe and sacred space for her students to connect with their bodies through each trimester of their pregnancy.

A monthly subscription also includes access to all previous classes and discounts on future workshops.

Tuesday drop-in - Prenatal Yoga

In this weekly live-streamed class, Saskia integrates asana and restorative yoga to help her students connect with their bodies through each trimester of their pregnancy. A monthly subscription includes access to all previous classes and discounts on future workshops.

Workshops - Selfcare Saturdays

This monthly, two-hour workshop is offered in association with Your Community Yoga Center.

Selfcare helps us maintain a balance between how much energy we invest in ourselves and how much energy we spend on work and home life.  Imbalances deplete our vital life force and addressing them gives us a better chance of finding joy in our lives.

Coaching for Mental and Emotional Freedom

Saskia works one on one to meet her client’s needs, as she channels and intuits how best to assist and support them. Her compassionate and peaceful presence creates a safe space for her clients to discuss their hopes and dreams, pain points and stressors. This leads to a strategic and creative way forwards towards their unique desired outcome.
